EXPERIENCE PROFILE
Lynette Andrew
Ms Lynette Andrew is Managing Director and
Principal Consultant of Synergy Performance Consultants Inc. (formerly Synergy
Human Resource Services Inc). She has worked in the field for over twenty-five
years and has extensive and varied knowledge in people management and
development. Lynette manages Synergy supported by a team of professional resource persons,
experienced in various aspects of human resource management and development.
Lynette's expertise is sought-after by consulting
firms requiring specific competencies in human resource management and
planning. Prior to starting Synergy, she
was Human Resource Specialist for Shell Antilles and Guianas Limited, directing
the administration of human resource policies, processes and procedures for the
East Caribbean Region. During her early
career she worked in the personnel functions of Leylands Vehicles Ltd and
Massey Ferguson Ltd in the U.K. She managed the regional training and
internship programme of the Caribbean Regional Intern-Scholarship Program
(CRISP) on behalf of Aurora Associates International, Inc a management
consulting company based in Washington, D.C. CRISP was a
development initiative funded by USAID for participants in the working populations of Barbados and the OECS.
She is a Fellow of the U.K. based
Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds a diploma in
Management Studies from the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West
Indies. She has acted as Caribbean
External Moderator on behalf of the Institute of Personnel and
Development for the Cable & Wireless Certificate in Personnel Practice
study programme for HR Practitioners and has held executive positions on the
Small Business Association and the Human Resource Management Association of
Barbados.
Lynette is Co-Director of WellnessMax
Inc. She is responsible for marketing
wellness promotion as a strategic human resource intervention and designing and
facilitating organization-specific programmes.
She is editor the company's wellness promotion bulletin for employers,
"Healthy People=Healthy Business".
